Deddington Health Centre is a friendly 4 partner training practice in a picturesque North Oxfordshire village located on the
Oxford-Banbury road.
With our 2 salaried GP colleagues and full primary health care team including Practice + District nurses, Health visitors, Physiotherapist, Podiatrist, Phlebotomist, Counsellor as well as Audiologist, Acupuncturist and Pharmacist we care for 9500 patients in 40 villages in an area of 200 square miles.
We are a dispensing practice with a skilled dispensing team and full administration support.
As well as training registrars, the whole team is enthusiastically involved in educating the Oxford 5th year medical students who spend 6 weeks with us at a time. We also have trainee health Visitors, Nurses and Pharmacists for blocks during the year.
Our registrar has their own room with a full set of kit including up to date PC and camcorder and a doctors bag. There is a well stocked library with all the standard texts and journals.
We believe in making the surgery a fun place to work and morning coffee is often full of laughter as well as an opportunity for informal learning and often delicious cake. We also have regular team social events which helps our excellent team spirit.
