As an FY1 Doctor you are entitled to apply for Educational Leave, for specific events arranged and approved by HENW’s Foundation School.
Currently approved events include:
- Training to become a Lessons Learnt Lead
Lessons Learnt is part of the FY1 teaching programme, from February – June, totalling six peer group sessions - Training to deliver Ask to See Patient to the next cohort of FY1 trainees
ATSP is a compulsory shadowing session attended by FY1s prior to starting their first placement - Presentations at Foundation Programme Conferences, by invitation only
