GP Placements

You will spend 6 months in a GP practice as ST1 or ST2, and a further 12 months in a different practice for your ST3 year.  Our training practices are regularly assessed and approved by HETV .  Every trainer holds a postgraduate certificate in medical education or equivalent, attends   training updates run by the scheme and the deanery and contributes to the VTS teaching programme.
