Peer-led Learning Resources

We would like all GPSTs who are leading a peer-led teaching session to complete a planning template 2-3 weeks before their session and send this to the supervising TPD

Curriculum Summaries

The RCGP curriculum sets out what’s required to practise as an independent General Practitioner in the UK NHS. It defines the knowledge, skills and qualities expected of GPs and describes useful learning and teaching activities. However we appreciate that Clinical Supervisors in other specialties will not have the time to read the entire GP curriculum. We have therefore included below, links to some summarised learning outcomes for various hospital specialties which were originally produced by the East of England Deanery. We suggest that GP trainees use these summarised learning outcomes to guide clinical experience in their hospital posts in order to maximise learning opportunities. You may want to use them to create a PDP in discussion with your clinical supervisor at the beginning of your post, and to review progress at the middle and end of each post.
