In order to demonstrate competence and fitness to be licenses as a GP, you will need to pass the MRCGP Exam which consists of 3 separate assessments:
- Applied Knowledge Test (AKT)
- Clinical Skills Assessment (CSA)
- Workplace Based Assessment (WPBA)
The AKT can be taken during or after GPST2. Information on AKT and how to apply can be found on the RCGP website:
