👥 Our Multidisciplinary Team
We pride ourselves on a collaborative atmosphere, utilizing a large boardroom for regular educational updates and team meetings.
- Prescribers: 10 GPs, 2 Advanced Paramedics, and a Pharmacist.
- Nursing & Support: 6 Nurses/HCAs, a Social Prescriber, and a First Contact Physiotherapist.
- Administration: Our highly-rated Reception and Admin teams are central to the friendly “Burdwood Experience.”
🎓 Training & Education
Training is led by Dr. Bahia and Dr. Osborne, though all GPs supervise and many of the wider team teach.
- Tailored Learning: We offer flexible teaching guided by your specific needs and special interests.
- Experience: We host Medical Students from Southampton University and provide care for Downe House School.
- Legacy: The majority of our current GP team are former Burdwood Registrars—we train with the long term in mind!
💻 Systems & Operations
- Clinical Software: EMIS (Electronic Patient Notes).
- Triage & Workflow: Anima systems for triage and document processing.
- Out of Hours: Provided by West Call and NHS 111.
