Trainees are expected to be fully competent to work unsupervised in the Urgent and Unscheduled Care (UUSC) setting by completion of training. This now includes acute and out-of-hours care within your GP practice.

The UUSC provider that covers the BNSSG area is Severnside Integrated Urgent Care (IUC) (which includes BrisDoc). Register with them by contacting brisdoc.gp-trainee@nhs.net

There will be a Brisdoc induction session as part of the ST3 programme at Southmead on 20th September 2023 (1- 5 pm)
Post-pandemic, Brisdoc have given priority to ST3 Doctors in training but hope to be able to provide sessions for ST2 doctors in 2023-24.
