The Derby GP Specialty Training Programme enjoys very enthusiastic support from the Consultants involved in the hospital aspect of the training. This is demonstrated well by their active involvement in the Half Day Release Training Course. The Programme Directors and Consultants work together and strive constantly to improve the already high standard of education offered by the hospital posts.
To receive a CCT (Certificate of Completion of Training) at the end of your training, your training programme has to be approved by the training board (PMETB).
All Derby GP Training Programmes have been approved by the deanery and PMETB. This means that individual posts are non transferable between programmes unless authorised and approved by the deanery and PMETB. A programme is approved in its entirety.
