The practice should provide for a registrar the following items:
Their Own Room
It is preferrable for a trainee to be based in the same room as much as possible, this may be used by other members of the team when the trainee is not in surgery. This means that if the trainee has any specific equipment they need (for example, dictation software) they have access to it at all times.

- Access to Sonicaid
- Prescription pad (for home visits- usually in name of trainer)
Training Equipment
- Video camera/ ipad (any device for recording consultations should not be linked to the internet and stored securely on site
- TV / computer screen with video link for watching videos
- Access to practice protocols/ local formulary/ practice intranet
- Access to practice library or desktop resources
