Specialist Training Registrars will be encouraged and supported in the planning of their own learning.

The middle year of Hull’s rotations is usually made up of 3 posts in 3 different medical specialties lasting 4 months each.

The York Specialty Training Programme has a long tradition of excellence and innovation. It offers a variety of posts to suit all learning needs.

We are fortunate, as a scheme to be large enough to be able to offer a wide diversity of practices. Most of our practices are involved in undergraduate training and some also in pre-registration house officer training. 

Rotherham is a commercial, rural and industrial centre in South Yorkshire. Being located between two motorways, and a major road, means easy access to the shopping centres and attractions of the nearby cities of Sheffield, Leeds and Nottingham.

The Scheme aims to help registrars acquire the knowledge, skills and attributes required for modern General Practice. We encourage participants to take responsibility for their own learning in training posts and GPSTP groups.

The Airedale Programme aims to offer as much variety as possible to its Specialist Training Registrars. In addition to the standard hospital posts, we aim to be as flexible as possible with part time working and are sometimes able to offer Innovative posts in the community. 

The Bradford GP Training Scheme is known for its innovative training programme,  wide range of educational opportunities and personalised support, giving GP trainees in Bradford a varied, holistic and memorable training experince.

Between the Dales and the Pennines. Pennine GPST Programme covers Calderdale and Kirklees.

Dewsbury, Wakefield & Pontefract (DWP) General Practice aims to provide ‘excellence in General Practice training’.
