Program Director – Dr Derek Seex
Derek qualified in Leeds in 1976 and following GP training in Yorkshire moved to Manchester where he has been in practice since. Involved in GP training and teaching for many years his main role as Training Programme Director is in organising the tracks for trainees following their appointment to the programme, liaising with the various hospital departments to quality assure the posts on the programme and maintaining contact with the local GP trainers and their practices.
Program Director – Mary Ward
Mary is a GP who qualified in London, before moving to the North West 15years or so ago. She has been involved in GP training and education since 2011 and for Salford and Trafford is both the TPD (organising tracks, liaising with CS/ES and trainees and ensuring good training experience for all) as well as working with other educators, delivering the structured teaching programme too.

Dr Simon Henshall
Simon is a GP principal working in Rusholme in central Manchester at the Robert Darbishire Practice. He has been a GP trainer for several years. Simon is also a GP appraiser.
