Non-urgent advice: Junior Doctor Wellbeing

Employee Assistance Programme is available for you. This service, provided by Health Assured, is available 24 hour a day, 7 days a week to support you with issues such as health and wellbeing information, stress at home or work, financial issues including debt, family and relationship matter and consumer issues. To access the support service you can call 0800 030 5182

Occupational Health in your trust can be a significant source of support for physical and psychological health issues. Ask your supervisor for a referral. Some OH departments allow you to self-refer.

SuppoRTT Champion
Dr Jane Boydell and Dr Frances Keane are the SuppoRTT Champion for Cornwall (CFT and RCHT respectfully). Through SuppoRTT Champion programme, you can access individual support returning to work after 12 weeks or more away from the work environment.

Professional Support & Wellbeing service (South West)
PSW aims to promote the well-being and personal development of doctors in training across Health Education England South West. Their team can provide support and assistance in tackling obstacles or key transitions, whether they be professional or personal. They offer a confidential, non-judgmental space in which to explore the challenges you are facing and make a bespoke plan of support.
