Induction

We have a virtual pre-induction event for all GPs in training joining the Trust over the next few months. At this event, usually a month before you start, you will be given an opportunity to meet members of the Post-Graduate Faculty, colleagues and trainees in other years. It will be a good source of information to assist you in making the most of your time with the Trust. If you are an incoming ST1, the details go this event will be emailed out to you nearer the time.

You should have received details of your hospital induction on the 4th of August, including what documents to bring with you. If you haven’t heard anything, please contact rch-tr.JuniorDoctors@nhs.net 

The day you’ve all been waiting for. For most of you, this will be the first day you meet your peers and the TPDs (face to face, covid permitting!), find out which small group you’re in, and get to know why Wednesday is the best day of the week! There will be lots happening this day and you will probably leave with overloaded with information about the requirements for the next 3 years but fear not, all the information you need to know is on this website, so you can come here for reference as and when you need it.
