These roles will be supported by the local patch GP education teams.
Educational opportunities will include:
- Mentorship from a member of the local patch TPD team
- Opportunity to develop and deliver educational sessions and contribute to the wider patch education team workstreams
- Support to develop and enhance educational skills (and attend relevant courses if available e.g. small group facilitator skills course)
- Opportunity to support the annual patch quality panel
- Opportunity to network and work collaboratively with others undertaking these roles
Support and mentoring
A member of the patch TPD team will provide mentoring and support for those undertaking this role, though it is important that Education Associates have well developed organisational/time management skills and have the ability to be self-directed in order to get the most out of this opportunity.
