Non-urgent advice: Truro

Spend the day pottering round the shops, checkout the amazing cathedral and finish the day with a drink or some food at one of the many decent restaurants (some listed below)

Non-urgent advice: St. Agnes & Perranporth

Walk from St Agnes to Perranporth along the absolutely stunning stretch of coast path (about a 1.5 hour walk) stopping for a pasty at one of the local bakeries followed by a pint of Cornish beer or a coffee.

Perranporth 
The Watering Hole – Shabby beach bar, good bear, benches on the beach, draws great live music acts
Alcatraz – Coffee shop/ cocktail bar with amazing views
The Summerhouse – Upmarket restaurant with equally amazing sea views 
Black Flag Brewery – Great local brewery with tap house on industrial estate, pop up food vendors at weekend
Mr Chapmans – Good local bitchers that also does decent meat and veggie friendly pasties 
The Yard – Vegan & veggie street food spot. Yummy. Closed for some of the winter months.

St Agnes
Schooners – Beach side bar and restaurant, great seafood 
The Taphouse – relaxed bar and restaurant with yummy food 
The Sorting office – small café with best coffee in town 
Chapel Porth Beach Café – Amazing grilled sandwiches and the famous “hedgehog” ice cream
St Agnes Bakery – decent local bakers with good pasties and pastries

Non-urgent advice: Falmouth & Penryn

Park near the Greenbank Hotel and then walk all the way through the main high street which hugs the harbour side, stopping in the shops, galleries, pubs, restaurants and cafes (just a few suggested below). Walk out the other side of town and finish a Gyllyngvase beach. Grab a bite or have a pint ot coffee at the Gyllyngvase beach café

Cribs – good Caribbean restaurant, caters well for veggies
Bango Kitchen – amazing asian restuarant and café in Penryn. The bao buns are amazing and they also cater well for veggies
The Chain Locker – Harbourside pub and restaurant 
The Greenbank Hotel – Sister hotel to the Alverton, great for bottomless brunch

Non-urgent advice: West Cornwall (St Ives, Penzance & Newlyn)

Spend the day pottering around the winding alleyways of St Ives or along the seafront promenade that connects Penzance to Newlyn. Dip in to the Tate St Ives or Newlyn Society of Arts Gallery and finish the day with some fresh Cornish sea food and an ice cream (see suggestions below).

Archie Browns – health food/ vegan shop with café – delicious salads 
Lavender – Good pasties (although not warm if you get them in the afternoon!)

St Ives
St Ives baker – best pasties in town, veggie and vegan options 
Porthminster beach café – upmarket restaurant with great sea food and fabulous sea views
