Tameside and Glossop are home to a population of around 250,000 people and situated at the foot of the beautiful Pennines. The cultural hub that is Manchester City Centre is also nearby and can easily be reached by road, train or tram.
Our GP Training scheme has been designed to be both enjoyable and to prepare you for your future career as a Specialist General Practitioner, with many of our trainees choosing to work locally and even become GP trainers themselves after training! The teaching programme is delivered by enthusiastic GPs and Consultants and focuses on the clinical, professional and personal aspects of becoming a GP to provide you with an exciting, fulfilling and thought-provoking training experience.
