During ST1 and ST2 our full time trainees will complete:
- 2 x 6-month posts in secondary care specialities.
- 12 months in General Practice placements. The majority of our full time trainees spend 12 months in one integrated training post (ITP).
- Less than full time trainees will also spend around half their ST1/2 training time in secondary care specialities and half in General Practice placements.
All trainees spend their final ST3 year in General Practice (a different practice to their ST1/2 placement(s)).
