For those of you starting in GP Placement: See the link on the trainee resources page about getting onto the Performers list. It is important to do this before you start and can be a slow process so it is worth getting started as soon as you can!
If you have any questions or concerns please don’t hesitate to contact your nominated Educational Supervisor (ES) or Sam and Simon to talk it through. I’m sure you won’t be surprised to find that you probably aren’t the first person to need some help along the way. Between us we can help nudge you back on track if needs be!
Don’t forget your portfolio in the early days. Think of it as a 3 year exam (sorry!). If you put quality entries in from the start you’ll find you can sail through the VTS. There are plenty of links available on the trainee resource page to help you think about what constitutes a good entry but if you still find you aren’t sure what to write speak to your peers, those in years above you, Sam and Simon or your ES.
