Managing learners in need of support
A multi-professional module on managing learners experiencing difficulty can be found on our Educator Hub. The Performance in Practice DVD was launched in 2010 and is a learning resource targeted at educational and clinical supervisors to provide them with simple principles and guidance on how to manage a trainee in difficulty. The content of this short interactive, video-based programme includes:
• recognising the trainee in difficulty
• common presentations
• diagnosis
• immediate management.
