Training Programme Director

suginahesketh@nhs.net

Having trained at King’s College London, I completed my VTS in South London in 1994. I then worked as a locum for 2 years first in Oxford area and then in Maidstone. My first salaried post was on the retainer scheme, followed by the flexible career scheme and then a part-time salaried post. All this, whilst bringing up my family of four children and a menagerie of various animals including pigs! I have been a Partner now for 15 years but enjoy a varied portfolio career, having developed special interests in gynae, family planning, whilst also working for NHSE as a GP appraiser; HEE as an educational supervisor and programme director; Medocc OOH and as the medical advisor for a fostering agency. My career to date as given me wide experience of career choices that are available to GP’s and has kept interest alive and burn out at bay!
