They will ask questions to assess symptoms, then give the healthcare advice the patient needs or direct them to the local service that can help them best. One of the services available is our GP out-of-hours service.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Once referred to our service, further care can include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>telephone advice<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>a face-to-face consultation at one of three centres in Arrowe Park,&nbsp;Eastham or Wallasey<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>a home visit where deemed clinically necessary<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Health Care Professionals (e.g. District Nurses, Paramedics, Pharmacists, Pathology Laboratory) also call the OOH service via the Health Professional Line. Further care is then facilitated following a telephone triage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<a class=\"wp-block-nhsblocks-nhsbutton alignright nhsuk-button\"><\/a>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-nhsblocks-panel1 nhsuk-panel is-style-panel-with-label\"><h3><strong>Usual opening times<\/strong><\/h3><div class=\"paneltext\">\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Monday \u2013 Friday: 6:30 pm \u2013 8:00 am<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Saturdays,&nbsp;Sundays and Bank Holidays: 24-hour service (8:00 am to 8:00 am)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<a class=\"wp-block-nhsblocks-nhsbutton alignright nhsuk-button\"><\/a>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-nhsblocks-panel1 nhsuk-panel is-style-panel-with-label\"><h3>OOH GP Registrar Training<\/h3><div class=\"paneltext\">\n<p>GP OOH Registrar Induction will be offered in February and August each year, and this will include interactive SystemOne Training sessions.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<a class=\"wp-block-nhsblocks-nhsbutton alignright nhsuk-button\"><\/a>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-nhsblocks-panel1 nhsuk-panel is-style-panel-with-label\"><h3><strong>GPOOH<\/strong> Shift Bookings<\/h3><div class=\"paneltext\">\n<p>Please email the OOH Rota Team at&nbsp;<a href=\"mailto:wcnt.rotateam@nhs.net\">wcnt.rotateam@nhs.net<\/a>&nbsp;for session bookings or rota enquiries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You will be allocated a GP Clinical Supervisor who will support your training during the OOH session.&nbsp; <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Any shift cancellations must be reported to the Rota Team, and if possible, please communicate this cancellation to colleagues who might be interested in undertaking the session.
