Clarence Medical Centre is a long established surgery in Windsor, Berkshire which is a purpose built health centre built in 1995 on a new site close to Windsor town centre. Access to London Waterloo is available from the Windsor & Eton Riverside Station or London Paddington from Windsor Central Station to Slough and picking up a fast train to Paddington. We are about 10 minutes walk from the town centre and access to the M4 is only minutes away and the M25 is about 10 minutes away.<\/p>\n\n\n

The building was awarded \u2018highly commended\u2019 in the Royal Borough of Windsor & Maidenhead \u2018Architecture & Environmental Awards Scheme\u2019 in 1997 and is generally considered to be an excellent building by both staff and patients. We also operate a branch surgery at the Royal Holloway University of London in Egham, Surrey.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We are a seven doctor practice comprising five GP Partners and two salaried GPs and the practice is part of the Windsor, Ascot & Maidenhead Clinical Commissioning Group (WAM CCG). We are open Monday to Friday, 8.00am to 6.00pm. The total practice population is around 15,000, of which approx 5,000 are at the University health centre. We have\u00a0a qualified GP trainer at the practice \u2013 Dr Gero Baiarda.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We strive to offer the highest standard of patient-centred healthcare and run many clinics for the management of chronic diseases such as asthma and diabetes and offer a wide variety of other medical services including antenatal and postnatal care, minor surgery, dermatology clinics, childhood vaccinations and well-person check-ups.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We are also supported by a highly experienced nursing team comprising two Nurse Practitioners, two Practice Nurses and a Health Care Assistant and an experienced Practice Manager co-ordinating an administration and reception team.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The practice uses a Vision hosted clinical computer system and we consider ourselves \u2018paper light\u2019 in that no paper notes are used in the consultation and all incoming correspondence regarding patients is scanned daily in the computerised patient journals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
