Swindon Educational Trust (SET) also run a separate educational programme aimed at sessional GPs and GP locums.

Events usually run on a monthly basis at The Academy at GWH although these are now gradually returning to Face to Face events following the lifting of Coronavirus restrictions. The educational meeting is specifically designed to meet the needs of sessional and locum GPs. These include significant event analysis and reflective practice sessions.

Approximately 20 doctors attend each event and it is a very friendly and informal setting in which to meet new colleagues and fulfil your appraisal needs.
