Come and train in Somerset!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you decide to come and do your GP training in Somerset you will be warmly welcomed by a dedicated team of GP Trainers and GP Educators. With two bases in Yeovil and Taunton you will find a wide variety of rural and urban practices to choose from and you will be exposed to a panoply of innovative ideas on how to manage primary care in different settings. Your own studies will be nurtured and directed by a team of educationalists who believe in tailoring training to the past experience and individual needs of each GP trainee. Our aim is to inspire confidence in the role so that you will emerge from the scheme fully ready to take up whatever post you choose in Primary Care. Along the way we guarantee you will have had fun and will have made some friends for life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

All this takes place in the beautiful setting of the county of Somerset. With a District General Hospital at each end providing all the necessary hospital posts and some truly delightful countryside in between we can meet all your training needs. There is ready access to the coast and we use stately homes such as Dillington House for some of our training venues. We believe in work life balance and believe you can achieve this along with exam success in the MRCGP exam. Our track record bears this out and we look forward to welcoming you soon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
