It is anticipated that NHS staff will be working more hours, and have less time to manage their lives, especially with the upcoming closure of schools. Meanwhile, healthcare students have had placements cancelled and teaching moved online for the foreseeable future. Not yet qualified to help in a formal capacity, this gives students the time to volunteer their time to support.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This site is a directory for known networks of students across the country assisting staff with their needs. The aim is for students to help alleviate pressures on staff including, but not exclusive to: childcare; grocery shopping; and pet sitting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.bradfordvts.co.uk\/\">Bradford VTS<\/a><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Excellent website with lots of useful resources.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><a href=\"https:\/\/sharedservices.sthk.nhs.uk\/\">Single Lead Employer<\/a><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.eastmidlandsdeanery.nhs.uk\/general_practice\/general-practice\">Health Education England working across the East Midlands<\/a><\/h3>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p class=\"nhsuk-card__description\">National Health Supporters Connecting students &amp;
