As you will spend two years in practice you will have opportunities to work with different practice populations &#8211; from urban to rural, deprived communities to more affluent. Whatever your cup of tea, we are likely to have something to suit you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Our secondary care posts are based largely within the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.royalberkshire.nhs.uk\/our-locations\/royal-berkshire-hospital\">Royal Berkshire NHS Foundation Trust<\/a>. Your wellbeing is just as important to us as your progress through training.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Most of our teaching happens at the Reading Hockey Club in Sonning, we get you away from the wards (or your consulting room) and into the relaxed atmosphere of our meeting rooms &#8211; surrounded by cricket and hockey pitches.  Parking is free and plentiful and bleeps are completely out of range!  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We have developed our teaching program over many years and it continues to evolve, getting excellent feedback from our trainees.  We offer curriculum-based educational sessions dedicated to each year group which help prepare you for your exams and for independant practice. You will also get to mix with other year groups and learn from them in our longitudinal sessions.
