Regular engagement with the system is key.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group has-white-background-color has-background\"><div class=\"wp-block-group__inner-container is-layout-flow wp-block-group-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>WPBA evaluates your progress in areas of professional practice best tested in the workplace and:<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>looks at your performance in day to day practice to provide evidence for learning and reflection based on real experiences<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>supports and drives learning in important areas of capability with an underlying theme of patient safety<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>provides constructive feedback on areas of strength and developmental needs, identifying trainees who may be in difficulty and need more help<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>evaluates aspects of professional behaviour that are difficult to assess in the Applied Knowledge Test and Clinical Skills Assessment \/ Recorded Consultation Assessment<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>determines fitness to progress towards completion of training.<\/li><\/ul>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-white-background-color has-background\">There is good evidence that if you learn systematically through your training, based around the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rcgp.org.uk\/training-exams\/training\/gp-curriculum-overview.aspx\">curriculum areas<\/a> then you are more likely to be successful across the assessments as you progress.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator\" \/>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-white-background-color has-background\">You can find information on the various types of e-po entry and WPBA assessments on the<a href=\"https:\/\/www.rcgp.org.uk\/training-exams\/training\/workplace-based-assessment-wpba\/assessments.aspx\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"> RCGP website<\/a>.<br><br>There is an extensive FAQs section on the <a href=\"https:\/\/support.fourteenfish.com\/hc\/en-gb\/categories\/360000630758-RCGP-Trainee-Portfolio\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">FourteenFish website<\/a>, where you can also submit a request for help if you are having problems with things like locked ESRs, missing entries etc.<br><br>The <a href=\"https:\/\/primarycare.peninsuladeanery.nhs.uk\/about-us\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Deanery&#8217;s website<\/a> contains core information about the management of your training.
