ST2 Small Group Sessions<\/h1>

For those in GP placements<\/p><\/span><\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/section>\n\n\n\n

During term-time ST2s\u00a0WHO ARE PLACED IN GP PRACTICES ONLY<\/strong> \u00a0meet for regular small group sessions. There are separate groups for those in “pure” GP and those in ITPs – check the timetable for dates.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The aims of these sessions are:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    \n
  • To support each other in what can be quite a challenging environment, away from your peers.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n
      \n
    • To share resources, knowledge and experiences as the group sees fit<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n
        \n
      • To help each other work on consultation and communication skills using videos and role play<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n
          \n
        • To offer an action learning group<\/em><\/strong> which uses the group to help each other complete an audit and discuss the process and implications of this as per the learning outcomes published on the Peninsula Deanery website.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

          These sessions do not take place when there is full-day ST1 or ST2 teaching.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

          The Training Programme Directors aim to facilitate these sessions.  If they are unavailable we recommend that you nominate a facilitator from amongst the group members. Dates of sessions are indicated on the main timetable. All sessions will start at 1000 and finish at approx. 1200<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
