This might include taking a year out to pursue other academic interests, Maternity or parental leave and sick leave.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>SRTT is available to all trainees taking more than three months of leave (but that is not a hard line \u2013 if you have taken a period of absence and feel the scheme would benefit you, then this will be considered).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"HEEsuppoRRT Full\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/yybRU_8jvuE?start=2&#038;feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The links below explain the process and some of the resources available. Your TPDs will also keep you up to date with any SRTT events that are announced. Every year, expect 2 x ES and 1 x ARCP.  Most schemes run ARCP panels in January and July. Your annual ARCP will be in one of these periods.  <\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-nhsblocks-panel1 nhsuk-panel is-style-panel-with-label\"><h3>How many assessments do I need to do? <\/h3><div class=\"paneltext\">\n<p>If you are part time \u2013 then the minimum number of WPBA assessments that you need to do is reduced pro-rata accordingly. So, a part time ST2 trainee doing a 1 year post at 50% needs to do a MINIMUM of 1.5 CBDs every 6 months (= 3 in the 12 month period). An similar 50% trainee at ST3 level would need to do a minimum of 3 CBDs every 6 months &nbsp;(or 6 in the 12 month period).
