For example: if your entitlement is 27 days, you should take 9 days in each four month placement or 13.5 days in each 6 month placement. <br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Annual leave should be spread across days of the week (not all on a Friday!) and across educational and clinical hours.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you are timetabled to work a condensed week (i.e. one or more of your days exceeds 8 hours), your leave should be calculated in hours not days. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Leave requests need to be made to the rota coordinator for the placement. You should endeavour to give at least 6 weeks notice. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Annual leave on teaching days (Thursdays or Wednesday virtual days) count as one day or 8 hours of leave.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Accured annual leave following statutory leave (i.e. maternity leave) does not count for training. <\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-nhsblocks-panel1 nhsuk-panel\"><h3>Special Leave \/ Family Leave \/ Sickness Leave<\/h3><div class=\"paneltext\">\n<p>Policy coming soon. <\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"","protected":false},"author":211,"featured_media":0,"parent":2,"menu_order":0,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"closed","template":"","meta":{"footnotes":"","_links_to":"","_links_to_target":""},"class_list":["post-3549","page","type-page","status-publish","hentry"],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v27.5 -
