The assessment assesses a trainees performance against the Capabilities and looks at how they made holistic, balanced and justifiable decisions in relation to patient care. It assesses their understanding and application of medical knowledge, ethical frameworks, ability to prioritise and how they recognised and approached the complexity and uncertainty of the consultation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Trainees are expected to complete four CbDs in each training year (2 in each 6 month period for a full time trainee)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/gp-training.hee.nhs.uk\/gloucestershire\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/75\/2023\/09\/CbD-question-generator-for-GPs.pdf\">Cbd question generator for GPs<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Care Assessment Tools (CATs)  <\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>CATs are undertaken in ST3.
