About us<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
Bedgrove is situated on the southeast side of Aylesbury and borders on the village of Weston Turville. We moved into our purpose-built building in August 1996. We are part of Westongrove PCN with our 2 sister practices, Aston Clinton surgery and Wendover Health Centre, with a PCN population of around 31,000 patients. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
We are enthusiastic about training and have a variety of learners in the practice including medical students, GPSTs and work experience students.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
We provide an wide range of services including joint injections, family planning services, dedicated baby clinics and are supported by a large multidisciplinary team including specialist nurses, health care assistants, paramedics, clinical pharmacists, social prescriber link worker , first contact physiotherapy and a dedicated Complex Care Team who help us support our most complex patients in the community. We also have several care homes across the PCN who are visited weekly including residential, nursing, demntia and learning disabilities. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
There is a strong educational focus within Westongrove itself with many clinical and educational meetings for all the Practice Team.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Our trainers are Dr Ameet Sahni who is our GP lead for our Urgent Care service and is also an experienced GP Appraiser and Dr Ash Patel who is our GP lead for INR\/Anticoagulation and for Westongrove’s social media. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
