This is also a really easy way to\u00a0start ticking some boxes in your portfolios!<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>Two Bristol GP Registrars, Dr Molly Dineen and Dr Hannah Mahoney, along with colleagues at the University of Bristol and the Primary care Academic CollaboraTive (PACT), are co-leading the Accessing Continuity study,&nbsp;which launched in June of this year. This is a research study looking at the associations between continuity of care and access systems in general practice.&nbsp;<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>The Accessing Continuity study is a national research study, which needs just one member of staff from each practice to participate &#8211; including GP Registrars!<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>All you need to do is register for the study (via&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/gbr01.safelinks.protection.outlook.com\/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.gppact.org%2Faccessing-continuity&amp;data=05%7C02%7Cjennifer.parvin1%40nhs.net%7C6041f339760242d72f5808df0eb2e6cc%7C37c354b285b047f5b22207b48d774ee3%7C0%7C0%7C639245833673148966%7CUnknown%7CTWFpbGZsb3d8eyJFbXB0eU1hcGkiOnRydWUsIlYiOiIwLjAuMDAwMCIsIlAiOiJXaW4zMiIsIkFOIjoiTWFpbCIsIldUIjoyfQ%3D%3D%7C0%7C%7C%7C&amp;sdata=fWSaMR472V9x3YMSJxoZkvpw%2F8qhNwrkBcshDgL2Qng%3D&amp;reserved=0\">https:\/\/www.gppact.org\/accessing-continuity<\/a>) and then get consent from the practice that you are working in to participate. Data collection takes around one hour of your time and involves m<\/em><em>easuring the continuity of care in your practice, using the tools provided, and co<\/em><em>mpleting a questionnaire about your practice\u2019s access systems.&nbsp;<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>In return, you will receive a practice report to see how your continuity scores compare and you will become a collaborative author on any resulting publications.
