{"id":4691,"date":"2025-11-05T10:07:20","date_gmt":"2025-11-05T10:07:20","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/gp-training.hee.nhs.uk\/bolton\/?p=4691"},"modified":"2025-11-05T10:23:30","modified_gmt":"2025-11-05T10:23:30","slug":"bolton-structured-teaching-programmes-during-strike-action","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/gp-training.hee.nhs.uk\/bolton\/bolton-structured-teaching-programmes-during-strike-action\/","title":{"rendered":"Bolton Structured Teaching programmes during Strike action"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>We are beginning to see several questions about strike action and the structured teaching programmes (STPs).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In answer to the common questions:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Teaching runs as normal. <\/strong>The STPs are led\/run by GPs, NHS England and NHS FT staff who are not currently on strike and are thus expected to work as normal. (<em>This means we have to prep and plan to deliver our sessions as planned, even if there is no audience<\/em>)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Attendance will be strictly monitored on any strike days and fed back to practices for accurate recording and pay purposes. <strong>Late arrival\/early departure from sessions will be marked as non-attendance without exception<\/strong>, in line with Lead Employer and our own local attendance policy.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>We do not record sessions for future playback for a variety of reasons, including confidentiality, session planning and data storage.
