This is normally your HENW&nbsp;approved trainer in your general practice year ie ST3<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>All the Trainers are members of the local Blackpool Trainers Group but in addition under the care of the HENW and attend HENW training updates.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>They will review your training and experience over your 3 years training.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You will need to meet with your Educational Supervisor for 6 monthly reviews.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>They will need to approve any study leave.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Please make contact with your Educational Supervisor in your first month. It is your responsibility to make contact and arrange reviews.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>It is suggested that during each year you spend some time in your training practice. For this you will need to apply for study leave using the form in the normal way.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Your Educational Supervisor\/Trainer will be based at a local HENW approved training practice. This may be town based in Blackpool, Cleveleys, Fleetwood and Lytham or perhaps more rural in Kirkham or Over Wyre.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<a class=\"wp-block-nhsblocks-nhsbutton alignright nhsuk-button\"><\/a>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-nhsblocks-panel1 nhsuk-panel is-style-panel-with-label\"><h3>What is a Clinical Supervisor?<\/h3><div class=\"paneltext\">\n<p>During each 6 month ST1 and ST2 post you will have a clinical supervisor in addition to your educational supervisor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Responsible for teaching and supervising the trainee in an individual attachment.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Involved in work based assessments.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Clinical Supervisors\u2019 reports.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<a class=\"wp-block-nhsblocks-nhsbutton alignright nhsuk-button\"><\/a>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-nhsblocks-panel1 nhsuk-panel is-style-panel-with-label\"><h3><\/h3><div class=\"paneltext\">\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<a class=\"wp-block-nhsblocks-nhsbutton alignright nhsuk-button\"><\/a>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"has-nhs-light-grey-color has-nhs-blue-background-color has-text-color has-background wp-block-heading\">RESOURCES FOR SUPERVISORS<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>BLACKPOOL TRAINERS&#8217; GROUP<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-nhs-black-color has-text-color\">Blackpool GP Trainers Group is a peer support and development group for GP Trainers and GPs interested in becoming trainers. It is currently chaired by Dr Natalie Salah natalie.salah@nhs.net. Meetings are currently held approximately every 2 months  and are a mixture of face to face at Blackpool Victoria Hospital Education Centre or online.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>HEE NW GP SCHOOL CONTACT DETAILS:<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>All queries including trainer, trainee and ARCP related issues should go to&nbsp;<a href=\"mailto:gptraining.nw@hee.nhs.uk\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">gptraining.nw@hee.nhs.uk<\/a>.
