{"id":2167,"date":"2021-01-25T16:23:27","date_gmt":"2021-01-25T16:23:27","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/gp-training.hee.nhs.uk\/blackpool\/?page_id=2167"},"modified":"2021-05-06T12:15:54","modified_gmt":"2021-05-06T11:15:54","slug":"psychiatry","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/gp-training.hee.nhs.uk\/blackpool\/doctors-in-training\/foundation-trainees\/programme\/psychiatry\/","title":{"rendered":"Psychiatry"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Mental Health services in Blackpool are provided by\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.lancashirecare.nhs.uk\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Lancashire Care Trust<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The single FY1 placement is based at The Gateway, where outpatient clinics are scheduled.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There are four FY2 placements in total.\u00a0 Two are based full-time at\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.lancashirecare.nhs.uk\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">The Harbour<\/a>\u00a0(Track 10 and 12), whereas those trainees on Track 5 and 8 will split their three month placement between\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.lancashirecare.nhs.uk\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">The Harbour<\/a>\u00a0and Mount Croft at Fleetwood (switching after 6 weeks).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-nhsblocks-quote1 nhsuk-inset-text\"><span class=\"nhsuk-u-visually-hidden\">Quote \/ Testimonial: <\/span><div class=\"nhsuk-inset-text__quote\"><p><em>\u201cGood placement with lots of supervision and teaching.
