The department sees over 90,000 patients each year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-nhsblocks-panel1 nhsuk-panel is-style-panel-with-label\"><h3>FY1\/FY2 responsibilities:<\/h3><div class=\"paneltext\">\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Preponderance of medical emergencies, rather than Trauma<\/li><li>Good exposure to the critically ill patient, their assessment and management<\/li><li>Work in the dedicated Paediatric Area<\/li><li>Attendance at Directorate Audit meetings<\/li><li>Rolling teaching programme, at which all staff are expected to contribute<\/li><li>Attendance at the mandatory\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/gp-training.hee.nhs.uk\/blackpool\/doctors-in-training\/foundation-trainees\/teaching\/\">Foundation Teaching Programme<\/a><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<a class=\"wp-block-nhsblocks-nhsbutton alignright nhsuk-button\"><\/a>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-nhsblocks-panel1 nhsuk-panel is-style-panel-with-label\"><h3>FY2 only:<\/h3><div class=\"paneltext\">\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Participate in the Junior Doctor Rota with Middle grade supervision<\/li><li>Regional level induction for Accident and Emergency medicine<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<a class=\"wp-block-nhsblocks-nhsbutton alignright nhsuk-button\"><\/a>\n<\/div><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p class=\"nhsuk-card__description\">The\u00a0Accident &amp;
